Greenfield & Hunter's latest in style and grace

New collection from Phillip Jeffries

GH banner blog 1It was only last week that we launched The Textile Company at our Greenfield & Hunter, and this week we're excited to launch the new Phillip Jeffries Summer 2018 Aboretum.

This collection finds inspiration from tiny petals and full blooms while the rich atmosphere of floral hues, patterns, and textures becomes an oasis. Explore the range of diverse wall-coverings, each with their own unique patterns and textures, printed on a variety of natural grounds, including Manila Hemp, Washi, Linen, Silk, and Vinyl Iberian Linen. In the manufacture of these coverings, digital design mixes old-world craftsmanship with new-world technology.

Monet Monet takes inspiration from the waterlilies that are artfully dotted along a pond, capturing a romantic collage of lily leaves for a one-of-a-kind design. Each lily is crafted during a multistep artisanal process. The paper is coloured and stencil rubbed for a textured effect mimicking real lily leaves. The paper is then hand torn into each lily, brushed down onto a paper backing - all in all producing a beautiful floral motif.

As with all Phillip Jeffries wallcoverings, there are a few that are suitable for residential along with contract and hospitality. And this latest release is no different. One of the weaves, Well Traveled Weave, is described as 'life imitating art'. It's inspired by the look of classic weaves from ethnic tribal baskets to the Parisian bistro chairs, this two-tone diamond patterned vinyl is made with a four step colouring and embossing process for the look of real woven texture. For this particular weave, there are 11 different colour variations, making it the perfect option for any sort of environment.
